The following excerpts are just a few examples of letters we’ve received from FFA chapters from all over the country. We’re pleased to know that Home Grown is making a difference and impacting individuals and chapters and at the grass-roots level.
The donation will be used to create an award that will provide monetary value to an FFA award. We will call the award in your “Red Brand” name. The award will go to a student that has excelled in their project the most.
The funds will be put to good use. More important, however, is the fact that businesses like Red Brand support the need for agriculture, and the youth that will lead the industry tomorrow.
We recognize that Red Brand has been a long time sponsor of National FFA Activities and now you have reached us directly at the local level. These funds will help another member attend a State or National FFA event and help as seed money for a new member to establish a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE).
We applied the money to our scholarship programs.
Our 54 chapter members were able to educate our community about the importance of the agricultural industry. First we traveled to the elementary schools to make agriculture education presentations to all 1st and 4th grade students. We also hosted the ‘Little Vike Animal Education Tour’ in the ag shop where we had a petting zoo atmosphere for 58 of our local preschoolers. They received packets with an agricultural coloring book, soybean crayons and farm animal stickers to take home.
We will be using the funds for scholarships.
We can participate in different contests and activities throughout the year.
The program you’ve offered will help us with our trip to the National Soils Contest in Oklahoma City, OK in May.
The money will go towards purchasing awards for this year’s 81 st annual FFA banquet we have.
The money will be used to help the chapter pay for our annual chapter banquet and help some FFA members go to the annual State Leadership Convention.
Your generous donation will be used towards leadership development for our chapter.
The funds donated will go towards chapter projects.
The chapter always does what they can to raise funds, but this was a win-win for everyone. Just by purchasing fence, we were all partnering in the future of students.
