Keystone Steel & Wire Co. is a major manufacturer of Steel Rod, Drawn Wire and Fabricated Wire Products. We are an established company located in Peoria, Illinois, and have been in existence for over 100 years.

Job Description:

–	Monitor day to day plant operations and activities to assure optimum efficiency of processes and facilities.
–	Develop key performance indicators for energy usage and helps operations and maintenance managers use these indicators to monitor the performance of their departments.
–	Work with other engineers, operations, and maintenance to evaluate the energy efficiency impact of process changes or new equipment.
–	Monitor new energy saving technologies to see if any are applicable to Keystone’s processes or activities.
–	Develop funding requests for energy saving projects indentified including payback.
–	Work with other engineers, operations, and maintenance to implement and institutionalize approved energy saving projects.

Job Requirements:

–	BS/BA degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science or related field and 2-5 years of related heavy industry experience.  May accept appropriate experience in lieu of degree.
–	Experience working with hourly and management personnel in a heavy industrial environment.
–	Experience with energy usage and energy saving projects in a primary metals or formed metal products facility preferred.
–	Basic understanding of energy consumption and energy saving opportunities.
–	Ability to use personal computers running Microsoft Office and e-mail software.
–	Ability to handle multiple tasks and keep accurate and reliable records.
–	Assertive and goal oriented.
–	A self starter with positive attitude.
–	Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Salary Range:

$61,860 - $92,784 Annual
